How to read the Eredivisie table
The table is sorted primarily by points (Pts), then goal difference (GD), then goals scored (GF). If teams are still tied, secondary tiebreakers — head-to-head record (points, then goal difference in matches between the tied teams) and, if necessary, a play-off — are applied. The exact rules are set by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) for each season.
