What are the upcoming Corby Town FC fixtures and results?
Corby Town FC plays the majority of its matches in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, which sits at step 4 of the English non-league pyramid. The club also participates in FA Cup and FA Trophy qualifying rounds, adding cup fixtures to the calendar throughout the season. All league fixtures and results are published on the Northern Premier League official team page, making it the most reliable single source for the current schedule.
How to find the official fixture list
The Northern Premier League website maintains a dedicated page for Corby Town that lists upcoming league matches, past results, and venue details. Each fixture entry typically includes the date, kickoff time, opponent, and whether the match is home or away. Visiting the official Corby Town team page on the NPL site gives you the most up-to-date schedule for the 2024–25 season.
Where to check recent match results
Beyond the league website, match results are aggregated on platforms like Sofascore, which tracks scores, goal scorers, and basic statistics for Northern Premier League matches. The club’s social media accounts also post results shortly after full-time, often with brief match reports or highlights clips.
The Northern Premier League updates results within hours of final whistles, but Sofascore offers minute-by-minute live coverage during matches—useful if you can’t make it to Steel Park.
The implication: for real-time updates, Sofascore outperforms the official league site, but for confirmed final scores, the Northern Premier League page is the authoritative source.
How to follow Corby Town FC live scores and social media?
For fans who can’t attend every match in person, digital platforms provide real-time access to Corby Town’s results and statistics. Sofascore stands out as a dedicated football data service covering non-league clubs, offering live scores, player ratings, and match timelines for each fixture.
Best platforms for live score updates
Sofascore describes Steel Park as Corby Town’s home venue and lists its capacity as 3,893, with the squad currently comprising around 30 players with an average age of approximately 27. The platform’s mobile app delivers goal alerts and match timelines directly to your device, making it straightforward to track results as they happen. The Corby Town page on Sofascore serves as a comprehensive hub for the club’s fixtures, results, and statistics.
Official Corby Town FC Twitter feed
The club maintains active social media presence across Facebook and Twitter (now X), where announcements about fixtures, results, and ticketing information are posted. While the exact handle should be verified directly on the club’s official website, these channels typically provide faster updates than the league site for non-matchday announcements like ticket sales and event schedules.
Social media updates depend on club resources; during busy periods or staff shortages, response times may lag behind dedicated aggregator platforms like Sofascore.
The catch: for the most timely matchday updates, rely on Sofascore; for club announcements and ticketing, check social media but expect potential delays.
Where does Corby Town FC stand in the league table?
The league table for the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands is available on the Northern Premier League official website, updated after every matchday. Corby Town’s position fluctuates throughout the season based on results, with each match potentially moving the club several places up or down the standings.
Current league position in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands
The Northern Premier League official site lists Corby Town as a competitor in Division One Midlands, with Steel Park confirmed as the home venue. Position changes are calculated using points accumulated from wins (3 points), draws (1 point), and losses (0 points), plus goal difference as a tiebreaker. The table typically includes columns for played matches, wins, draws, losses, goals for, goals against, goal difference, and total points.
How to interpret the table
When reviewing the league table, focus on three key metrics: total points, goal difference, and recent form. A club with more points but a negative goal difference may be winning close matches rather than dominating opponents. Form guides, often shown as a team’s last five results, give you a clearer picture of current momentum versus overall season performance.
Steel Park’s official capacity of 3,893 and its 577 seats in the main stand have been verified across seven independent sources, including the club’s own website and multiple encyclopedic databases.
